Going concern and the audit

Directors adopted going concern basis. At 31 August 2025 net cash was £41.4m with a £20.0m undrawn revolving credit facility to February 2028. Cash flow forecasts prepared to 31 August 2027 (at least 12 months from approval date), with sensitivity testing of a 25% demand reduction over two years, 10% increase in operating costs, increase in cash collection cycle, and 12% reduction in gross margins from input cost increases; sensitised scenario shows headroom throughout. Auditor Crowe UK LLP issued an unqualified opinion; key audit matters were revenue recognition on long-term contracts and recoverability of goodwill/acquired intangibles
