Going concern and the audit

Financial statements prepared on a going concern basis, but auditor Lubbock Fine LLP issued an unmodified opinion with a Material Uncertainty Relating to Going Concern paragraph: the Group has a net liability position of $(1,345)k (2024: $(300)k) and cash of only $25k (2024: $866k) at year end, and is reliant on progressing the Colle Santo Asset (via LNEnergy) to FID in Q3 2026, contingent on securing the Production Concession and development funding (pre-payment, third-party debt, contractor finance). Key Audit Matters: accuracy/completeness of equity (share options/warrants), completeness of creditors, going concern, and management override of controls. Overall materiality $67,300 (5% of net liabilities); performance materiality $37,000.
