Going concern and the audit

Financial statements prepared on a going concern basis. Unqualified ('true and fair') audit opinion by PKF Littlejohn LLP (signed by Imogen Massey, Senior Statutory Auditor, 19 December 2025); no material uncertainty related to going concern identified. Two key audit matters: (1) carrying value of exploration & evaluation assets (£6,806k) — recoverability/impairment judgement; (2) carrying value of investments in subsidiaries and receivables from subsidiary (Company only). Post year-end the Group raised further funding (July 2025 placing £1.1m, warrant exercises £3.85m, December 2025 placing £3m) giving cash and cash equivalents of approximately £5.2m as at 16 December 2025.
