itim Group plc sells software that helps mid-sized retailers run their shops and online sales. Revenue slipped to £17.5m from £17.9m the year before, and the company moved from a pre-tax profit of £175k to a pre-tax loss of £464k.

The report blames a difficult UK retail market, where retailers cut costs and delayed the start of projects, so one-off project income fell while subscription income was slightly up. Two unusual costs also hurt: redundancy costs, and a £142k provision for unpaid invoices after the customer Quiz Clothing went into administration in February 2026. The company cut staff costs in the second half of the year, but expects the benefit in 2026 rather than 2025.

Cash at the year end was £2.6m, down from £3.8m, and borrowings rose to £726k. No dividend is proposed. The Board calls 2026 a potential turning point for growth, though it is not forecasting direct revenue from its new AI product. The auditor gave a clean opinion and raised no doubt over the company's ability to keep trading.
