During FY2025 the Board repositioned the Group's strategy from vanadium-titanomagnetite toward gold, acquiring an initial 33.3% interest in MT Gold Mineração Ltda (owner of the Paranaíta Gold Project) and advancing the Molly Gold Project and the legacy Pitombeiras Vanadium-Titanomagnetite Project, all pre-revenue exploration assets in Brazil.

Jangada Mines explores for minerals in Brazil and has no revenue yet. It made a loss after tax of $1.8m in the year to 31 December 2025, wider than the $1.2m loss the year before.

During the year the board shifted its focus from vanadium to gold, buying an initial 33.3% interest in the owner of the Paranaíta Gold Project. The loss was increased by one-off costs: an $859k write-off of its stake in Fodere Titanium and a loss on selling its Blencowe Resources shares, partly offset by a gain in the value of an investment.

Cash at the year end was $1.8m, up from $66k, after raising $1.8m from new shares. There are no borrowings and no dividend. Management expects more drilling and an updated resource estimate at its Molly gold project. The audit opinion was clean and the directors saw no significant doubt about the company's ability to keep trading, but the report warns that two key Brazilian licences have formally expired and are under regulatory review, with an uncertain outcome.

What management said

The period ahead is one of the most exciting in Jangada's history. We enter it with two high-quality gold projects, a strengthened balance sheet, an experienced operational team in Brazil, and a gold market that continues to provide an exceptionally supportive backdrop for quality exploration and development stories... At current valuations, we believe the market has yet to fully recognise the potential of what we are building.
