Journeo plc, which supplies information, safety and security systems for buses, trains and critical infrastructure, grew revenue to £55.0m in the year to 31 December 2025, from £49.6m the year before. Profit before tax rose to £5.6m from £5.0m, but profit after tax slipped to £4.2m from £4.5m.

Growth came from the on-street Passenger Systems business and from Crime and Fire Defence Systems, a security specialist bought in September 2025. Sales at Infotec, the rail display business, fell after a New York subway contract finished in 2024. Stronger group purchasing power helped the company keep more of each pound of sales. The tax charge rose because past tax losses have now been used up, and the deal brought some one-off costs.

Cash at the year end was £12.0m, down from £14.3m, after £9.8m was spent on the acquisition. Borrowings were minimal, £1.4m was raised from new shares, and no dividend is proposed. The board says strong order books and a growing pipeline give it confidence of further growth, while listing changes in government policy among its risks. The auditor's opinion was clean and the directors raised no going-concern doubt.
