KRM22 sells cloud-based risk management software to trading and financial services firms. In the year to 31 December 2025, revenue rose to £7.4m from £6.8m, but the loss after tax widened to £2.0m from £1.3m. Income from recurring contracts grew, but the company spent more on cloud hosting and paid sales commission to its distribution partner, Trading Technologies. The loss was also deepened by a paper loss on currency movements and one-off costs of settling its debt. In November 2025 the company raised £9.2m from shareholders before costs, using part of it to settle its loan from Trading Technologies in full, leaving it debt free. Cash at the year end was £5.2m, up from £1.0m. No dividend was paid or proposed. Management calls 2026 an 'investment year', with the benefits expected from 2027. It said new sales have been slow to complete, with only £0.1m of new annual contract income signed since the start of 2026, though it says demand remains strong. The auditor gave a clean opinion and raised no doubt about the company's ability to keep trading.

    Going concern and the audit

Unqualified ('true and fair') audit opinion issued by PKF Littlejohn LLP (Nicholas Joel ACCA, Senior Statutory Auditor), dated 12 May 2026. Auditor concluded directors' use of the going concern basis is appropriate, with no material uncertainties identified over at least twelve months. The sole Key Audit Matter was the carrying value of Goodwill and Other Intangible Assets (Note 13), given significant judgement in the value-in-use impairment model (WACC, growth rate, terminal values, forecast cash flows).
