Maintel Holdings Plc runs phone, video, contact-centre and network services for UK businesses and public bodies. In 2025 its revenue fell to £92.2m from £97.9m, and it moved from a pre-tax profit of £374k to a pre-tax loss of £2.3m.

The report blames falling income from older on-site phone systems as customers move to the cloud, a shift towards lower-margin services, higher staff costs and more spending on IT and marketing. One-off costs, including a provision to settle an employment tribunal claim and restructuring costs, added to the loss. Cost savings softened the blow.

Cash at the year end was £624k, down from £4.1m, against borrowings of £18.8m. No dividend was proposed. After the year end, in June 2026, the company raised approximately £5.5m from investors and agreed new bank loans with HSBC. Management reported a positive start to 2026 in sales bookings but warned of difficult market conditions. The auditor gave a clean opinion and raised no doubt about the company continuing in business, while the report flags a rising risk of breaching its banking conditions.

The dividend
