FY2026 in sixty seconds
year to 31 May 2026 · approved 28 Sept 2026 · 87 pages · Companies House
Made Tech Group plc provides digital, data and AI technology services, mainly to the UK public sector. In the year to 31 May 2026 revenue rose 26.8% to £58.9m (previous year £46.4m), and profit before tax rose to £4.7m from £2.0m.
The report credits new and larger central government contracts and deeper work with long-standing clients. Costs grew much more slowly than sales, and the company hired more permanent staff instead of contractors. Gross margin, the share of sales left after delivery costs, slipped because of competition and pay for specialist staff.
The company ended the year with £14.5m in cash and no borrowings. It raised no new money from shareholders and is not paying a dividend. After the year end it won its largest contract, worth about £40m to the company as part of a group of firms, and raised its revenue forecast for next year to between £63m and £66m. Health work is expected to stay lower after it failed to win a place on a key health-sector supplier list. Auditors gave a clean opinion with no going-concern doubt, though the company depends heavily on UK government spending.
New and expanded central/devolved government contracts (e.g. £19m GDS Strategic IT and Security Delivery Partner win)
Central and devolved government remained the largest industry and grew significantly, reflecting new strategic wins and expansion of long-term relationships

Gross margin decreased to 30.4% (FY25: 32.0%)
page 20We entered FY27 with positive momentum; after the year-end Made Tech was appointed as part of a consortium to a four-year contract worth approximately £40m to Made Tech, the largest award in its history
