Pathos Communications plc runs a public relations business that gets media coverage for small companies, which pay only when coverage appears. In the year to 31 December 2025 revenue rose 14.7% to $13.1m, from $11.4m, but the loss after tax widened to $630k from $517k. The report says one-off costs made the loss bigger. These were the costs of listing its shares on London's AIM market in December 2025, plus write-offs of unpaid bills from a marketing test that was abandoned. Bad debts from customers who never paid were still a large cost, though they fell after tighter checks on new clients began in April 2025. The share of revenue kept after direct costs slipped. The listing raised $6.0m, lifting cash at the year end to $6.2m from $219k. Apart from its office lease the company has no borrowings, and it is paying no dividend. Management said 2026 had started with strong trading momentum, with results weighted to the second half. The auditor raised no doubts about the company's ability to keep going.
