Power Probe PLC makes electrical testing tools for car mechanics, mainly in the US, and listed its shares on the AIM stock market in December 2025. In 2025 its sales rose 25.7% to $39.4m, from $31.3m, but profit after tax fell to $3.1m from $5.8m. Sales grew because new products made up a much larger share of revenue, and because of growth in the US and in the UK and Europe. Profit fell for two reasons. The company kept less from each sale, partly because of lower-earning work making products sold under other firms' brands, which it is moving away from. Running costs also rose, mostly because of one-off costs of the share listing, plus legal costs and extra hiring. The company ended the year with $15.3m in cash and no borrowings. This was helped by $13.0m raised from new shares, and an $8.0m bank loan facility was unused. A $4.0m dividend was paid before the group was reorganised. Management said early 2026 trading was encouraging. The auditor raised no concerns, but the report warns of heavy reliance on a few large customers and one manufacturer in Taiwan.
