Mind Gym plc, which provides workplace training and advice to large companies, saw revenue fall to £29.9m in the year to 31 March 2026, from £38.6m the year before. Its loss after tax narrowed to £5.3m, from £8.2m.

The company said clients held back or postponed training budgets amid economic uncertainty, though sales picked up in the second half. Job cuts lowered costs. The loss includes one-off costs: a £2,981k write-down after deciding to move its digital assessment tools to an outside platform, plus redundancy costs.

Cash at the year end was £494k, and the company had borrowed £798k on its bank overdraft, against nothing a year earlier. It raised almost nothing from shareholders and paid no dividend. Management said the outlook remains uncertain, especially in the US, but that lower costs leave it well placed to recover. The auditor warned of a material uncertainty, meaning real doubt, over whether the company can keep going, as this depends on renewing its £2m overdraft, now due to run until 31 March 2027.
